Learn New Skills to Help Land a Job in Cleveland
If you are doing all of the right things and following all of the correct steps to try to land a new job in Cleveland and are still not seeing any progress in your job hunt, it may be time for you to learn a few new skills. Even learning just one new skill can greatly increase your desirability as a potential new employee. There are many workshops in the Cleveland area that you can take free, or for just a small fee. I recently found a webpage on Cleveland.com that lists all of the available free or very affordable classes in the area that you can take to learn a new skill. The link that I am going to send you to has only a few class dates left in December, but keep checking the page after the holidays, as I am sure more will be posted after the holidays are over. Here is the link:

As you can see, there are still two great classes left to take this month, both on Dec. 14. One is a "Business Basics Workshop" that is completely free. It will be at the U.S. Bank Building at 1350 Euclid Ave. in Cleveland. You can call 216-522-4194 to register and get more information as to what will be discussed in this workshop. You can also email appointments@chapter30.org . Be sure to act fast as this day is quickly approaching.
Another class on Dec. 14 is a "QuickBooks for Beginners" class that only costs $10 to attend. This $10 will be put towards student scholarships, so it is really a donation. This class is on Rockside Rd. in Independence, and can teach you QuickBooks skills; QuickBooks is utilized by many, if not most, companies for record-keeping, so having skills in this area can make you greatly desirable to many companies. Call 216-573-2707 or email hawkins_eileen@hotmail.com for more information and to reserve your seat.
