Cleveland Unemployed: Give your Time - and Get a Big Return
According to data from Simply Jobs, Cleveland Ohio has an unemployment rate of around 17.1% - which is massive. The employment situation in the "mistake by the Lake (Erie)" is certainly concerning but there is a glimmer of hope in all of this - the free time the unemployed have can be spent doing good at the plethora of organizations who desperately need volunteers.
Many job hunters so not realize the value in volunteering so I am going to break it down for you Cleveland. Volunteering while your out of work gives so much to everyone involved from the job seeker to the community needs - it can fill up your heart as well as your resume. When you volunteer, the experience you gain can be something new that you can bring to future employers and will show that you have some real initiative, where blank space on a resume can show that you have some real drinking problems.
